Hannah graduated from nursing school in 2017 from Indiana State University and started her psych nursing indirectly on a med-surg floor that had many patients suffering from mental health and recognized it was an area she really loved. She enrolled in University of Tennessee Health Science Center to obtain her doctorate in psychiatric mental health and from there started as a floor nurse in a mental health facility, grew into the house supervisor role, and then the Chief Nursing Officer. On that path, she also became a board-certified psychiatric nurse. Hannah is very excited to be on the Perimeter team and start this new chapter in her life, serving a population she has a passion for. Hannah enjoys supporting her nursing staff by educating them and helping make a positive change in direct care and policy. She loves being able to know that her team feels heard and supported. In turn, she takes care of them so they can take great care of our patients. Hannah is also thrilled to work with the kids and watch the transformation of a child from the beginning of their stay until the end. Experiencing the change that happens, when kids leave the facility happy and excited about their futures has been extremely rewarding. In her spare time, she remains busy with outdoor activities, home projects or learning something new. She is always up for a challenge.
