At Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Springfield, we are proud of our programs and services for children and adolescents. We are committed to delivering the highest quality treatment in a secure, therapeutic environment with compassion and respect. 

We understand the special mental and physical health needs of children and adolescents.  Many individuals we serve have experienced adverse experiences including neglect, abuse trauma and bullying.  Our treatment team is prepared to provide individualized care to our patients and their families/guardians.  

Having care available whenever an emergency arrives is provided at Perimeter Behavioral Hospital.  Our assessment and referral team is available 24/7 to respond to your needs.  The assessment process can be as easy as a phone call or walk in for an assessment.

We work together with our patients and their families every day to earn their trust and deliver exceptional care. Our team uses best practices to provide superior care in providing hope and transforming lives of those we serve.

      Alyssa has been working in healthcare marketing since 2015. She worked in in home health prior to joining the clinical staff as a full-time position at Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield. Shortly after in the facility, she recognized the importance of educating the community on how to find appropriate treatment for their patients and took on the role as a Business Development Account Manager/Mobile Assessor. Ms. Ingle graduated with her MS in clinical psychology from Evangel University and has held her Missouri license as a counselor since 2009. She has a part-time outpatient practice and loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys giving back to her community through different philanthropic organizations.

      Kyle John, MD

      Medical Director

      Dr. John received his medical degree from the University of Missouri. He continued with...

      Dr. John received his medical degree from the University of Missouri. He continued with his psychiatric residency and fellowship at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, MN. He is board certified in psychiatry and neurology, specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. John is licensed in Missouri, Minnesota, Iowa and Oklahoma. He is a member of the Missouri State Medical Association, Missouri State Psychiatric Association, American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, American Psychiatric Association, American Medical Association and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. In addition to practicing psychiatry, Dr. John has had many articles published, participated in research and has presented on topics specific to child and adolescent psychiatry. He has also been recognized as a Top Doctor in 417 Magazine multiple years in a row. Dr. John has been in the Mercy system working at Mercy Hospital, Mercy Health Ministry and Mercy Clinic. He is also a consulting physician at Missouri Baptist Children's Home and Great Circle Boys&Girls Town. In his spare time, Dr. John enjoys his family, his community and coaching soccer.

      Elizabeth Farrah, LMSW

      Elizabeth has been working with at-risk youth for 8 years. She first started working with...

      Elizabeth has been working with at-risk youth for 8 years. She first started working with children at the Boys and Girls Club while going to college at Missouri State University. She had always wanted to be a therapist and once she worked her first summer at BGC, she knew that was her calling and wanted to work with children. Elizabeth has a bachelor’s in psychology, social work as well as a Master of Social Work. She currently holds her LMSW and is testing for her LCSW in Spring of 2022 and will also obtain her CCPT licensure. Elizabeth enjoys developing programs and doing play therapy with younger patients and feels it is most rewarding to see patients successfully discharge and be able to return home with new skills and confidence. In her spare time, she loves to travel, camp, kayak, and train her soon-to-be therapy dog, Goose.
