OVERVIEW

The WoodRidge Behavioral Center is an acute inpatient psychiatric hospital located in West Memphis, Arkansas. It is a state-of-the-art facility that is licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Health, and accredited by the Joint Commission. WoodRidge Behavioral Center is devoted to providing acute psychiatric services to children and adolescents whose acute psychiatric symptoms require 24-hour supervision in a safe and structured, therapeutic environment. Confidential intake assessments are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We offer crisis stabilization, assessment, and inpatient mental health treatment in a safe and nurturing environment. The goal of the program is for each child and adolescent to achieve emotional stability, eliminating high-risk behaviors, and develop appropriate coping skills to successfully return to their home, school, and community.

ADMISSION CRITERIA

  • Children and adolescents ages 6-17 upon admission
  • IQ of 70 or higher; under 70 considered on an individual basis
