About Oaks Behavioral
Oaks Behavioral is designed to treat acute mental health disorders in children and adolescents ages 5 to 17, and senior adults ages 65 and older. Oaks Behavioral also has a residential treatment center that aims to treat chronic mental and behavioral disorders in children and adolescents ages 8 to 17. At Oaks behavioral, we are committed to providing personalized treatment utilizing a multidisciplinary approach. In addition, patients and families will receive education on specific disorders, medication management, effective coping strategies, and a comprehensive discharge plan.
Senior Adult Care
The Senior Adult Psychiatric Unit at OakHills Behavioral Center is designed to treat acute mental health disorders in adults age 65 and over. Personalized treatment is provided utilizing a multidisciplinary approach including active participation in group therapy, individual therapy, and activity therapy. Patients and families receive education on specific disorders, medication management and effective coping strategies.
