PERIMETER HEALTHCARE EXPANDS TO TEXAS ANNOUNCING NEW FACILITIES IN ARLINGTON AND DALLAS
Company renews commitment to expanding access to quality mental and behavioral healthcare services throughout the country
Atlanta, GA (May 7, 2019) Perimeter Healthcare today announced the acquisition of two 116-bed inpatient psychiatric hospitals located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The behavioral healthcare company plans to re-open the newly acquired facilities as Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Dallas and Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington.
“Operations in the new facilities will initially focus on the mental and behavioral healthcare needs of pediatrics and adolescents, with the plan to expand services to other ages in the future,” said Lisa Evans, COO of Perimeter Healthcare. “With an unprecedented increase in the prevalence of mental health challenges, this is a critical period in our country’s history. We hope to keep doing our part in addressing the nation’s mental health challenges by providing best-in-class holistic care to all the patients that visit our facilities.”
“The need in the community is great, and we are excited about working with other local healthcare providers to create a continuum of care that meets the very specific needs of children in our area. This will include specialized tracts for this vulnerable and underserved population,” stated Andrew Hardin, Market Chief Executive Officer. Perimeter’s focus on quality and providing outstanding customer service will be foundational as the company plans its continued growth to meet this ever-increasing need. “If we can make a positive difference in the life of a child who is struggling and give him or her the tools needed for success in life, we have done our job,” he continued.
The acquisition represents another milestone in achieving the company’s vision of expanding access to quality, patient-centered mental and behavioral healthcare services. Perimeter Healthcare now operates eleven facilities across six states in the country and looks forward to serving all the stakeholders in the Dallas and Arlington communities. The company has a proven track record of providing excellent mental health treatment, driving education and advocacy, and actively participating in numerous community development initiatives.
Rod Laughlin, CEO of Perimeter Healthcare, further affirmed the company’s excitement for the opportunity ahead. “Our team of administrators and specialists are thrilled to serve the Dallas-Fort Worth community. We hope to replicate the success we’ve seen in our other facilities and start delivering the best individualized inpatient psychiatric care for our patients and their families.”
